How did 2025 go, and what achievements did you celebrate at the end of the year?
2025 was a very positive year for CARTES, marked by growth, international expansion, and significant accolades. The market confirmed its interest in modular solutions for printing, finishing, and converting self-adhesive labels – solutions that combine quality, efficiency, sustainability, and added value. CARTES received five awards at the 2025 FSEA Gold Leaf Awards and strengthened its international presence with a new office in Guadalajara, Mexico, dedicated to support, service, spare parts, and consumables. Labelexpo Europe 2025 was also very successful: seven machines on display, over 1,000 new contacts from more than 100 countries, and 15 machines sold.
Which of your technologies are most appreciated by the market?
Among the most appreciated technologies are the Jet D-Screen digital finishing and laser die-cutting with the patented ILC (Invisible Laser Cutting) device. Laser die-cutting allows for processing without physical tools, reducing setup times and offering freedom in complex shapes. Invisible laser cutting, a CARTES-patented technology unique in the world, allows for cutting dark labels while preserving the edge’s aesthetics. Jet D-Screen enables multi-layer digital effects, spot coating, tactile raise effect, Braille and foil with precision and strong visual impact. The added value lies in its integration into modular lines, combining traditional and digital processes into a single workflow.
Which projects did you launch in 2026, and what new developments can you share?
2026 began with ORO DEL SOL, a project developed with BasileADV, which led CARTES to win the first prize in the Private Label category at the Vinitaly Design Award 2026. The project embodies our vision: transforming the label into a multisensory medium, where printing, finishing, and converting become an integrated process. Created on the CARTES GT360, it combines screen printing, Braille, hot stamping, embossing, special varnishings, laser engraving, and JET D-SCREEN. In 2026, we will continue to develop integrated and flexible solutions, leveraging GT360 and GEMINI360 for complex, high-value labels.
