In 2025 REM, thanks to the consolidated partnership with Screen, focuses on digital ink jet printing for self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging, promoting advanced solutions such as TRUEPRESS LABEL SAI 350UV and the new eco-sustainable Truepress PAC 520P lines.

The Truepress SAI 350 UV line, in its 3 variants SAI-E, SAI-S and SAI-LM with 350 mm paper passage, printing speed up to 60 m/min. and the possibility of equipping up to 7 colours, is able to cover all the needs of printers, even the most demanding.

With REM DIGITAL, a new reality will be born that will exclusively promote SCREEN machines that are by nature eco-friendly and sustainable, while maintaining the consolidated partnership with Weigang for conventional semi-rotary offset printing in the wine label sector.

With the possibility of 340 or 460 paper passages, Weigang’s WL semi-rotative offset lines integrate, depending on individual needs, flexographic groups, cylindrical flat screen printing, semi-rotative hot stamping, embossing and flatbed hot stamping, to offer maximum flexibility and obtain high-quality prints.

Of course the print, both digital and conventional, needs to be finished and controlled and we offer our customers the products of two world-leading companies such as Prati for the slitter rewinder, finishing and converter part and Deco System for the 100% control part.

As a priority for 2025, we will focus on loyalty, excellence in service, innovation and vision of the future to build solid relationships with our customers.

With our dedicated B2B platform, we guarantee fast and error-free sourcing, reducing downtime and trying to improve the service offered. At the level of innovation, we are increasingly investing in digital ink jet printing to offer advanced and competitive solutions in this evolving market. New training programs and technical support to maximize the potential of the technologies adopted by our customers is the plus we are able to offer.

ESG criteria are increasingly at the centre of companies’ development strategies, what are the actions you have taken in this regard?

For REM, sustainability is a core value that guides every activity, from technology to business processes. Our greater focus on digital ink jet technologies is aimed at reducing material waste, reducing electricity consumption, optimising materials and limiting environmental impact with on-demand runs. Working with partners who believe in and implement concrete actions for sustainability does nothing but make our work more effective because the entire chain must be sustainable.

Criticality=opportunity: what are the critical issues that you have found on which you have built valuable solutions for the sector?

Reduction of batches, management of multi-references, increasing LABEL customization and lack of qualified personnel, especially in conventional print, in our opinion are today the critical issues in the sector. REM tries to meet these challenges with Screen’s digital ink jet printing thanks to flexibility and customization, and with Weigang offset machines for high quality and competitive printing.
