What were the main challenges faced in 2024 and what goals were achieved?

In 2024, MAG DATA GROUP faced an evolving flexible packaging market characterised by growing demand for sustainable, high-performance solutions. One of the main challenges was adapting to new regulations related to the environmental impact of plastic films and the needs of customers looking for sustainable products with a view to the circular economy and sustainability. Among the objectives achieved, the company has expanded its range of BOPET, BOPP, BOPA and aluminium films, as well as bioplastics such as PLA and cellulose acetate, offering innovative solutions that guarantee high technical performance.

What product lines are you working on that you intend to promote as a priority over the next year?

MAG DATA GROUP is focusing its efforts on several product lines for flexible packaging, including:

  • BOPET film: consolidation of the existing range and introduction of PCR products based on recycled raw materials;
  • BOPP film: expansion of warehouse stock and extension of the range with high-performance materials, such as high-barrier and heat-resistant films;
  • aluminium: increasing stock and developing new service formulas;
  • bioplastics: focusing on PLA and cellulose acetate, with the introduction of sealing materials.

These lines are at the heart of promotional activities in 2025, with the aim of responding to the needs of a market that is increasingly attentive to sustainability and quality.

What actions have you taken in relation to ESG criteria?

MAG DATA GROUP has integrated ESG criteria into its corporate strategy:

  • environmental: development of low-impact products, such as films with specific characteristics that improve recyclability and reduce the use of unsustainable materials;
  • social: promotion of an inclusive and safe working environment, with investment in training and employee well-being;
  • governance: implementation of transparent and responsible policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethics in business.

What role do trade fairs play in the development of new services and products?

Trade fairs are an important platform for MAG DATA GROUP to launch new products, gather feedback and establish strategic partnerships. Events such as IPACK-IMA and PRINT4ALL offer the opportunity to present the latest innovations to a qualified audience and to better understand market needs.

We are able to support our customers by offering

Stock service. Fast delivery of quantities ranging from small batches to full truckloads. This allows customers to meet sudden and unplanned material requirements. The availability of the required sizes is also ensured by the presence of dedicated cutting facilities in the production area.

Call-off formula. The customer builds up their own stock at our factories, thus reducing their financial and warehouse commitments and always having their goods available thanks to fast and punctual deliveries.

Consignment stock. We provide a stock of goods directly at the customer’s warehouse, which has the advantage of eliminating transport times and reducing financial commitments.

Direct containers. The customer can receive full loads, 20ft or 40ft containers, produced according to their requirements in terms of material type and dimensions, without having to worry about customs and import procedures.

The main product categories we focus on are ALUMINIUM, BOPET, BOPA and BOPP, which are divided into a wide range of standard and special materials, constantly evolving in line with the technological requirements of food packaging.

The great attention we pay to researching and selecting film manufacturers, which has always characterised our work, is made available to our customers and partners, who can rely on us for the development of new products and the implementation of innovative projects.
