THE INTERVIEW

Dario Cavalcoli

Dario Cavalcoli

Business Development Director

In a market context such as the current one, what were the main challenges you faced in 2024 and what were the most important objectives achieved?

The main challenge was to commit our growth to offering products and solutions that could meet the needs of our customers both in Italy and abroad. In terms of greater production efficiency, this is one of the goals we have achieved.

What product lines are you working on that you intend to promote as a priority over the next year?

In 2025, we intend to focus on two strategic lines:

  • continue to promote our Ink Consumption Control Systems and, at the same time, launch a new line of viscometers designed for corrugated cardboard printers, who need targeted solutions to optimise the efficiency and quality of their printing process;
  • an ongoing strategic aspect will be the promotion of ATLAS by SisTrade, our management system, leader in the control and optimisation of production processes in the printing sector. Unlike software that requires customizations, ATLAS is based on four Operational Assets: Vision, Business, Control and Management, each of which offers specific solutions for the needs of the sector.

What services or activities have you planned for 2025 to engage and gain customer loyalty?

In 2025 we plan to expand support and training activities aimed at our customers, including:

  • webinars and training courses designed to offer our customers insights into optimizing consumption and improving quality in printing processes;
  • special attention will be paid to providing customers with all the information necessary to choose the management system that best suits their needs. In this, not only our sales, but our consulting activity as well, will help consolidate a relationship that has lasted for over 25 years.

Criticality=opportunity: what are the critical issues that you have found (or that your customers have shared with you) on which you have built valuable solutions for the sector?

The printing sector presents issues that we can define as “typical criticalities”. GAMA Group has always supported customers in the management of Strategic Processes, or Mission Critical. In this context, we again mention ATLAS, the native management system for our sector, which uses artificial intelligence to automate Production Planning and Scheduling, one of the main Mission Critical objectives.

THE PRODUCTS

In 2025, GAMA Group continues to innovate with solutions designed to optimise quality, productivity and efficiency in the printing sector.

ACSone is the new automated solution for foam control in cardboard printing with water-based inks. It monitors foaming in real time and accurately dispense the anti-foam agent. Integrated with the GAMA systems for viscosity, pH and temperature control, it guarantees a more stable flow and a more efficient and better quality printing.

CCSone is the smart system for controlling the use of inks. Innovative thanks to its microprocessor technology, it allows for the collection of valuable data on the use of inks, a fundamental raw material. It is essential to monitor the actual production costs for each job and compare them with the budget. In addition, it detects the minimum level of ink in the containers, preventing interruptions and waste.

ATLAS by SisTrade is the management software for the Printing & Converting sector that goes beyond the classic ERP. It optimizes 6 strategic processes by integrating offers, MRP, supply chain, production and scheduling through AI. With an Omotenashi approach focused on efficiency and people, ATLAS reduces errors and waste, harmonizing technologies and operational flows. It is a Strategic Framework with 8 transversal operations and 26 functional pillars, designed to transform inefficiency into productivity.
