In a market context such as the current one, what were the main challenges you faced in 2024 and what were the most important objectives achieved?
In 2024, Flex CA was born, a virtuous network of flexible packaging specialists, created to offer complete solutions that represent technological excellence in the sector. Drupa 2024 was the ideal opportunity to present this collaboration to the market, together with a major upgrade of the TF single-face slitter rewinder, now capable of processing reels with a finished diameter up to one meter.
What product lines are you working on that you intend to promote as a priority over the next year?
During the year we have worked intensively on important innovations to optimise the design and performance of our plants, offering increasingly cutting-edge solutions in line with the needs of an ever-changing market.
At Print4All 2025 we preview the new FUTURA line, the highest-performing Bimec range of slitter rewinders, which includes the TF single-face slitter rewinder, the STM duplex slitter rewinder and the TCA and BBOX Duplex Turret slitter rewinder. The slitter rewinders of the FUTURA range stand out for their renewed design, robustness and interactivity, which provide an intuitive, efficient and ergonomic working environment. These features make it possible to simplify the operator’s work, reduce the risk of human error and minimise machine downtimes.
FUTURA represents the historical evolution of Bimec and marks a new starting point for the company. With this line, Bimec has chosen to create a family of systems united by a common goal: a forward-looking vision and a strong drive for continuous innovation, ensuring constant readiness to meet the evolving needs of the market.
What services or activities have you planned for 2025 to engage and gain customer loyalty?
For 2025, trade fairs will be the protagonists of our customer engagement and loyalty activities. After taking part in major events such as Arabplast, Plastico Brasil, Djazagro, Chinaplas and Saudi PPPP, we will continue on our journey by participating in other international events, including PROPAK West Africa, K and Andina Pack.

Frontal slitter rewinder model TF
BIMEC slitter rewinders, available in various models to cover a full range of applications, with cutting-edge and reliable technological solution that stands out for its performance, energy efficiency, and ease of use.
Bimec products can process plastics, paper and laminated materials of different thicknesses and find application in many sectors, including food, pharmaceutical, medical, construction, thermo-hydraulic, automotive, textile, cosmetics.
Among the products that make up the range:
- Duplex slitter rewinders of the STB 550, STB 560 and TBS series, characterised by ease of use and essentiality, which guarantee standard operations;
- Duplex Turret slitter rewinders with automatic changeover of the FUTURA line, consisting of the TF, STM, TCA and BBOX models, which stand out for their high performance, stability and intuitive working environment;
- Centre-winding slitter rewinders of the BTS series, suitable for plastic films for large reels (finished reels up to a maximum diameter of 1000 mm);
- BDM and BDM-L reversible rewinders, designed for the recovery of finished reels that have alignment, printing, extrusion or inclusion defects;
- Unwinders-rewinders, suitable for unwinding and rewinding different materials;
