Eventful the purchase of Xeikon by Flint Group, known global manufacturer of printing inks and paints, pigments and additives, plates and sleeves, and other consumables. The transaction goes via the purchase of XBC BV, company which owns over 95% of the shares of Xeikon NV, currently undergoing the customary checks.

Xeikon is one of the great international brands of commercial printing and packaging, present on an international scale with its offer of state-of-the-art of digital presses, CtPs, digital systems for flexo plates (ThermoFlexX) and consumables. This step leads to the forming of the new Flint Group Digital Printing Solutions division, thus expanding Flint’s digital and conventional printing offer.

Antoine Fady, CEO of Flint Group, sees the acquisition as a valuable opportunity to give impetus to the presence in the market of digital solutions, where – said the manager – the group intends to continue its longterm strategy for investments in technological innovation and expansion of its product portfolio.
President of the new division will be Wim Maes, CEO of Xeikon, who in turn rates the integration into the Flint group as a great opportunity to promote growth, given the strong relationships that Flint Group has developed with many leading global organizations in the graphic arts and packaging markets, and given the shared goal of providing exceptional value, unparalleled service, consistent quality and continuous innovation.
