More than 200 experts from 23 countries and 126 companies gathered in Munich on February 25-26 for the tenth Fogra Colour Management Symposium, one of the most important international events dedicated to colour management in printing. Held under the motto “Matching Colour – Matching People”, the event highlighted the continued relevance of colour management in an increasingly digitalised and automated production environment. The programme featured seven thematic sessions addressing real production workflows, customer expectations, packaging printing, proofing technologies and emerging topics such as high dynamic range (HDR) in print production. A key element of the symposium was its practical focus.
Presentations were delivered by users and industry professionals who shared real-world experiences, operational challenges and implemented solutions. One of the most engaging moments was the on-stage “AI Battle”, where human expertise and AI-assisted design competed to produce the best visual result under real conditions.
Once again, the symposium confirmed its role as a key platform for knowledge exchange and networking within the global colour management community.
