The innovative CCSone -Consumption Control System developed at I&C-GAMA detects actual ink consumption in real time, through an interface physically connected to the ink bucket or basin. Its operation is based on measuring the pressure inside the container, and the data it generates on individual ink consumption can be fed into the company’s big data stream. These are managed through an ERP system, with the advantage of monitoring the entire packaging production process.

To learn more about the simplicity and effectiveness of this system, I&C-GAMA organized a “hybrid,” in-person and remote OH from Sept. 27-29 at CAMIS headquarters in Paderno Dugnano (MI), entitled “Big data days.” The well-attended demos focused in particular on data generation by GAMA’s CCSone and CAMIS’s automated mounter, as well as data acquisition by SisTrade’s ERP system.

At the Düsseldorf trade fair, updates from GAMA

In addition to CSSone, at K 2022 I&C-GAMA (hall 4 booth D12) presented the latest updates from the GAMA viscometer line to the international converting market.  “In particular,” says Sante Conselvan – Managing Director of I&C-GAMA, “we have improved the heat exchangers of our viscometers, which are now able to cool inks faster.

GAMA’s offerings include viscometers for flexo and roto printing, ink treatment technologies and printing process control. All products are made in Italy and have the quality certifications IQNET, CSQ, ATEX and the international IE-CEx certification. In the spotlight of the booth at K have been, in particular, the G1000 for quality control of inks and the new CCSone – Consumption Control System, which, in addition to inks, is also used with advantage to paints, lacquers, glues and other adhesive materials.

The Sleeve Storage System for sleeves and plates

To flexo printers and converters I&C-GAMA also offers a renewed solution for the storage of sleeves, anilox and plates: the Sleeve Storage System. This is a storage system specifically designed for intralogistics of the various types of printing dies, featuring automated sleeve picking and storage. The manual operations of the handlers are thus minimized.
