Flexible, board, special and more. Particular attention was dedicated to Cerutti’s popular R98X, which will be shown in two versions: one with a shaft print cylinder and another air chuck type for pneumatic blocking of shaftless coated print cylinders. This machine has been designed to serve a very wide range of uses, from flexible packaging to specialties. Versatile, operator-friendly, simple and with innovative functions, the R98X is Cerutti’s answer to an evolving market, promising reliability and high performance for every requirement.
This model will be presented alongside the R1081 model, a guaranteed high quality off-the-shelf solution for emerging markets, and the R983 dedicated to board printing applications.

Lamination and coating. For converting, Cerutti will present the new AC94X wide web lamination system (2.2 meters), reaffirming its capacity for supplying reliable technoloy solutions even with a unique and highly complex construction. Additionally, visitors to the fair will also have a chance to see a basic model at the Piedmontese manufacturer’s stand: an EC94X coating system with 1.3 m web and an operational speed of 400 m/min capable of spreading both solvent-based and solventless adhesives.

The value of variable data. Another exciting innovation at Cerutti’s Drupa stand will be the integration of digital and laser technology in its rotogravure and lamination systems. The multinational’s engineers have worked toward this objective in the conviction that it represents a significant added value for the market in terms of flexibility and customization of finished products. Today, just over one year since the official presentation of this initiative, they see their plans coming to fruition in applications developed in partnership with customers and suppliers.
