EyeC GmbH, a leading global provider of automated artwork and print image inspection systems, announces the launch of its new EyeC ProofRunner Evo. Designed for standard label formats and roll-fed materials, this modular inline inspection system combines cutting-edge AI technology with a scalable architecture that grows with production demands. The global premiere of the EyeC ProofRunner Evo will take place at Labelexpo Europe 2025 at the EyeC stand 5B11.
Founded in 2002, EyeC GmbH provides fast, accurate, and easy-to-use artwork and print inspection systems. EyeC is the only provider on the market that ensures product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process – from the first artwork file to the finished printed product. Their products provide users with 100% confidence about the print quality of their products, such as labels, folding boxes, package inserts, or flexible packaging. As a result, complaints and recalls are minimized, production costs are lowered, and quality testing is optimized. Around the world, more than 3,000 EyeC inspection systems are currently used by pharmaceutical companies, printers, and manufacturers of branded goods. The company currently employs over 70 people in Hamburg and has international sales partners in more than 100 countries.
EyeC ProofRunner Evo’s innovations
ProofRunner Evo’s modular design allows users to start with an affordable base configuration and gradually upgrade the system to the more powerful HighLight or HighLight UHD variants as their needs evolve. The existing hardware remains unchanged. A high-resolution 4K color line scan camera ensures pixel-accurate inspection, while the flexible lighting concept enables easy replacement of the lighting units.
Equipped with advanced AI technology, the ProofRunner Evo delivers intelligent, content-based defect classification. The system accurately detects and automatically categorizes relevant quality deviations while reliably filtering out insignificant variances. This results in increased inspection speeds and a significantly lowered false positive rate.
