Grafikontrol (control systems for the graphics industry) illustrated at Labelexpo all the potential of its LYNEX system for quality control in printing.

At the European labeling fair, LYNEX was presented at the stand of Advanced Machinery, Grafikontrol’s representative for the Belgian and Dutch markets, as the latest achievement in 100% inspection for printing.
LYNEX makes it possible to detect and automatically catalog all defect types. It displays the entire print format in real time on a high resolution monitor and supplies production analysis and data collection. Its numerous commands are also displayed live on machines by Omet and Lombardi Converting Machinery, in the various label print configurations.

Speed and precision even for “troublesome” prints. According to Finat data, European label production has doubled in the last fifteen years, while at the same time, greater attention to process quality and reducing wastage have contributed to increasingly advanced control systems. Grafikontrol serves this market with state of the art solutions, installed in the facilities of various Italian and European printers «on the wave of competencies developed in packaging and in partnership with major narrow web machine builders», explains Paolo De Grandis, sales director and partner at the Milanese concern.
LYNEX represents an emblematic example of this. Made up of one or more linear color cameras that can reach an operational speed of 900 m/min without altering image resolution, it performs checks on any print type. In particular, white LED lighting guarantees light quality and distribution with no image deterioration, even on reflective materials and inks.
«The feedback of visitors at this first Labelexpo has been extremely positive», commented De Grandis enthusiastically, adding that the concern intends to attend future editions of the fair.
