Dear Readers,

Converting opens the year with some great news. Our editorial team has expanded to include Raffaele Angelillo. An extra person who will help us accomplish much more, but also a young person (despite his remarkable CV) and with skills that differ from those of a “classic” editor and therefore a bearer of new perspectives, new ideas and skills both in content and in the channels and languages with which it is conveyed. Raffaele is an experienced prepress technician, consultant and trainer, Professor at universities and technical schools, active member of Taga Italia and long-time publicist, with a large network of relationships and a remarkable volcanic enthusiasm. He is also a nice and straightforward person, balanced and people-oriented: together we will make Converting Magazine even greater than it’s been so far, in both its print and digital issues, capable of offering new content of great interest for readers and investors. Here are a few sneek-peeks from the man himself.
Elena Piccinelli

You never forget your first editorial. I could not find better introduction to mark the beginning of my adventure with the Converting Magazine team, whom I thank for the enthusiasm with which they welcomed my ideas. We will be working on many new features, some of them, in fact, already presented to you in this issue. Converting4Education, for example, is the new format with which we want to reach out to new generations and future converting professionals. Starting with this issue, we will also give voice to the technicians who live the profession day-by-day, collecting stories and best practices from those who are committed to improving the sector on a daily basis. We will work on new reports, with contributions from our supply chain partners and, drawing from the printed issue, we will amplify our web portal for sharing the common point of view of the market. In such cases wishing “enjoy your reading” is always in order, but I would like to add that “the best is yet to come”, and it’s not just a promise.
Raffaele Angelillo
