Starlox Plus is the result of a precise intervention on the geometry of the cell: not an extra bit of ‘magic’ in the engraving, but a more intelligent design. The tank is shallower than traditional solutions and, with the same functional volume, makes better use of the cell’s opening and angle.

This reduces the ‘well’ effect and allows the ink to flow more smoothly: discharge becomes progressive, stable and uniform, with fewer differences between start-up and printing speed. In practice, this increases the amount of ink actually transferred to the plate, improves coverage (more compact solids, fewer micro-voids and less banding) and makes behaviour more repeatable between reprints and different machines.

In addition, the shallower depth limits residues at the bottom: fewer cleaning cycles and more effective washing, with a more constant actual volume over time.
