Beyond the four color palette of preprinting and conventional and digital printing: definition, formulation, control, measurement.
This is the focus of the upcoming Taga Day, a day-long informational meeting entitled “Communication by printing with spot colors and special tones”, which will be held Friday 22 May 2015 in the Sagitarius conference room at Converflex Ipack-Ima at FieraMilano (Rho). After an introduction by Alessandro Mambretti, Alessandro Beltrami will give a presentation entitled “The perception of color in graphic products”, followed by talks by Denis Salicetti (“Describing spot colors in PDF”) and Carlo Carnelli (“Spot color formulation in conventional printing processes”). Finally, David Serenelli will discuss spot color simulation in small and large format digital printing.
