CorrBoard UK, the sheet-feeding specialist based in Scunthorpe, has invested more than £10k to upgrade its laboratory testing conditioning unit, which allows the quality team to set the temperature to meet with industry standards.
Delivering exactly the right environment for testing, the team can now provide more accurate measurements with more advanced systems and processes in place.
In addition, the business has extended the Quality Laboratory it has onsite, doubling the size of the previous space. This will allow for additional tests to be carried out simultaneously and for the team to produce samples that can be used as a benchmark during quality comparisons.
Quality Manager at CorrBoard, Caroline Donson, comments: “Thanks to the investment, the upgraded conditioning unit gives us precise control over the testing environment, ensuring our board is conditioned consistently before testing.

CorrBoard is a privately-owned, sheet feeder. The business was founded in 2014 and manufactures corrugated cardboard from a purpose-built facility in Scunthorpe.
